FEEF to Host Alabama Shakespeare Festival
Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation will host Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s touring production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, for a one-night performance only. The Shakespeare production will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. in Fairhope High School’s Black Box Theatre.
The abridged one-hour performance tells the story of two couples who find themselves lost in a mystical, dreamlike forest on one unforgettable midsummer’s night. According to an ASF description, “Caught in a tug of war between fairies and foes, the four become engaged in a delightful game of “she/he loves me, she/he loves me not” as only The Bard can describe.”
Tickets go on sale in January with a limited number available at $12 per person. Tickets are available at Page and Palette in Downtown Fairhope, iBERIABANK in front of the Fairhope Publix or by calling 990-3333 or emailing info@feefonline.org.
