Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation will host Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s touring production of The Comedy of Errors for a one-night only performance.  The Shakespeare production will take place on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. in FEEF’s Black Box Theatre at Fairhope High School.

The Comedy of Errors is a hilarious tale of mistaken identity.  Twenty years after being separated in a shipwreck as babies, two pairs of identical twins find themselves in a seaport town with a reputation for sorcery and magic.  Mistaken for each other, they are constantly bewildered by bizarre encounters, cross-purpose conversations and baffling misunderstandings.  It all ends in riotous chaos!

FEEF Executive Director Cori Yonge said proceeds from this showing of The Comedy of Errors will help fund performances for more than 1,200 public school students in Baldwin County during the week of February 22. The Comedy of Errors is underwritten by Hampton Inn Fairhope.

“This partnership with ASF is a win-win for all parties involved,” Yonge said.

“The public has access to professional theatre at a discounted price, our students are exposed to a first-rate Shakespeare performance, and ASF is able to reach an audience outside its traditional Montgomery location.”

General admission tickets are $15 and available at Page & Palette in downtown Fairhope, brownpapertickets.com or by calling 990-3333. Ticket sales are limited and doors open at 6:30 p.m. for general seating. For more information visit www.feefonline.org or email [email protected].
