Mission / History
Rooted in Fairhope.
Reaching Toward the Future.
Creating opportunities for students through enrichment that lasts a lifetime.
Our Story
What Happens
When a Community Steps In?
You get FEEF: Fairhope’s engine for educational enrichment.
FEEF was created to fill the gap between what public schools provide and enrichment resources and experiences for students to thrive. That gap is where creativity, innovation, and discovery live—and that’s exactly what FEEF delivers.
Today, FEEF is a trusted partner in education, a platform for impact, and a champion for the future of learning in Fairhope.
If you want to make a difference, this is where to begin.
Our Impact
Millions Invested.
Thousands Inspired.
Changing the classroom experience—
one grant, one program, one student at a time.
For more than two decades, FEEF has served as Fairhope’s leading educational enrichment foundation.
Our impact includes:
- Millions invested in Fairhope’s public schools
- Thousands of students reached annually
- Hundreds of grants awarded to passionate educators
- Dozens of enrichment programs made possible by community support
We are the bridge between classroom needs and community generosity. Every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where every student has access to creativity, curiosity, and confidence in learning.
“Joining FEEF changed how I see community involvement. I finally feel like I’m making a real impact.”

Our Schools
Enriching Every Classroom,
at Every Grade Level.
Proudly serving Fairhope’s public schools.
FEEF supports all Fairhope public schools with enrichment programs tailored to student needs at every age—from curious pre-k kindergartners to creative high schoolers.
Whether it’s funding marine or environmental science experiences at the Pelican’s Nest, supporting teacher-led initiatives at Fairhope Middle School or bringing technology and arts to the high school level, our goal is to make learning more engaging, relevant, and inspiring across the board.
Schools We Support:
- Fairhope East Elementary
- Fairhope West Elementary
- J. Larry Newton Elementary
- Fairhope Middle School
- Fairhope High School
- The Pelican’s Nest Science Lab
Our partnership with these schools is more than financial. It’s a shared commitment to equipping students with opportunities that spark learning and success.
Fairhope’s public schools are filled with promise and with your support and investment FEEF can offer more innovative programs and educational initiatives while providing more hands-on classroom experiences.
Founded by parents, educators, and community leaders, FEEF has grown into the largest private supporter of public education in Fairhope. We invest in programs that bring classrooms to life—like marine science labs, art installations, hands-on STEAM experiences, and teacher grants that spark imagination and innovation.
For over 30 years, FEEF has partnered with families, schools, and donors to expand what’s possible for every student. Our history is rooted in local commitment. Our mission is focused on a brighter educational future.
FEEF Board of Directors
The FEEF Board of Directors is a committed group of local leaders whose strategic decision-making and guidance steer the organization. Their passion for education is evident not only by the time they contribute as volunteers but also by their generous giving to FEEF programs.
