It started with a simple idea: Our schools are strong—but they could be even stronger with help from the community.
FEEF was created to fill the gap between what public schools provide and enrichment resources and experiences for students to thrive. That gap is where creativity, innovation, and discovery live—and that’s exactly what FEEF delivers.
Today, FEEF is a trusted partner in education, a platform for impact, and a champion for the future of learning in Fairhope.

FEEF is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and a dedicated staff, all with deep roots in the Fairhope community. Many are parents, educators, and local professionals who care deeply about our schools—and about helping students thrive.
Our leadership brings a wide range of talents to the table, but one thing unites us all: the belief that public education should be enriched, empowered, and celebrated.

FEEF supports all Fairhope public schools with enrichment programs tailored to student needs at every age—from curious pre-k kindergartners to creative high schoolers.
Whether it’s funding marine or environmental science experiences at the Pelican’s Nest, supporting teacher-led initiatives at Fairhope Middle School or bringing technology and arts to the high school level, our goal is to make learning more engaging, relevant, and inspiring across the board.

Our partnership with these schools is more than financial. It’s a shared commitment to equipping students with opportunities that spark learning and success.
FEEF board members visited schools across the district to present grant checks supporting innovative classroom projects and hands-on learning experiences. From band equipment and mobile science labs to classroom resources and outdoor learning initiatives, each award reflects FEEF’s commitment to enriching education for every student. These presentations also included a special grant to the Pelican’s Nest Science Lab (PNSL), further strengthening opportunities for exploration and discovery. Together, these grants highlight the meaningful impact donor support continues to make throughout Fairhope schools.

Founded by parents, educators, and community leaders, FEEF has grown into the largest private supporter of public education in Fairhope. We invest in programs that bring classrooms to life—like marine science labs, art installations, hands-on STEAM experiences, and teacher grants that spark imagination and innovation.
For over 30 years, FEEF has partnered with families, schools, and donors to expand what’s possible for every student. Our history is rooted in local commitment. Our mission is focused on a brighter educational future.
