Phantasy of the Arts 2016 featuring internationally acclaimed a cappella group Street Corner Symphony brought out a chorus of support for Fairhope students. The October 8 event, co-chaired by Jeni Whitehurst and Julie Brown, was another sell-out, raising funds for science, technology, art, engineering, music, and more in Fairhope schools.

In addition to Street Corner Symphony, the evening highlighted talented Fairhope students including food by Fairhope High School family and consumer science club, music by the FHS choral group, and winning fashions by local student designer Elise Terral.

“This was a wonderful opportunity for our sponsors not only to have a great time but to see first hand the programs they support and nurture in their schools,” said Whitehurst.

Following the performance, partygoers had a chance to catch up with friends and enjoyed food and beverages by BudBusch Distributing, Fairhope Brewing Company, Sage Lebanese Cuisine and Café, Warehouse Bakery & Donuts, and Will Hughes Catering.

“We’d like to thank everyone who played a role in making this evening a success, “ said Brown. “It takes a variety of talents to plan this event and we’re thankful to those individuals who stepped forward to help.”

Save the date for next year. Phantasy of the Arts 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2017.
